The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Conservation Group is a non-profit membership-based organization promoting conservation, environmental education, and outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. We are based in northeastern Vermont but have no defined “region” within which we work. We are actively involved in issues and projects relevant at local, state, regional and international scales.
Our Mission
To promote the preservation and conservation of Vermont’s fish and wildlife so that its citizens and guests may continue to enjoy the quality recreational opportunities they provide.

The VTFWCG charter states that we are to have 15 directors on the board. We welcome anyone who thinks they might have an interest in the conservation of our natural resources and or would be willing do donate some volunteer time towards that goal to join us at one of our monthly meetings. These are held on first Thursday of every month at our fish-rearing facility on Elliot Acres Rd in Morgan VT. Another option would be to call any one of our directors listed above and simply express your interest. The meetings are all open to the public for members and non members alike. Please come and share your ideas and opinions with us to help with our mission to conserve and protect our natural resources for future generations.
